This page provides access to a demonstration version of Energy Zone, a Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Energy Management System designed for Microsoft Windows platforms.
System Compatibility and Requirements
The demo version of Energy Zone is compatible with the following operating systems:
- Windows 3.11
- Windows 95
- Windows 98
- Windows ME
- Windows NT
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP
Minimum system requirements include:
- IBM-Compatible 80386 Processor
- 2 MB of Memory
- Mouse
- VGA Color Display
- At Least 2 MB of Free Hard Disk Space
Demo Version Features and Limitations
The demo provides full functionality of the system software except that it does not receive data from a trunk line. Consequently, all Remote System Controllers (RSCs) will appear as offline.
Menu features requiring live trunk line data, such as Zone Status, Zone History, and Zone Troubleshooting, will be disabled in the demonstration version.
Installation Instructions
- After downloading, run the installer by double-clicking Bas_Demo.exe.
- Upon successful installation, launch Windows and open the BAS program group.
- Click on the Building icon to start the demonstration software.
